Music Review:

Yet another Telugu Tamil remake.  This big hit of 2006 was named 'Pokiri' in south India.  Basically, it is an action cum romantic movie.

Movie buffs waiting with bated breath for the movie to unfold this Eid might be disappointed by the music of the album!  Love me is a corny and moronic song, while Dil leke does have a nice, good, senti melody, but that background music doesn’t gel.  Ishq vishq is a confused mishmash where Kamaal Khan seems to have forgotten a huge chunk of his lyrics. Le le maza is groovy - exotic sound, but the shameless hero-worship noise fest, Jalwa, is painful. Wajid and Sunidhi’s enthusiasm alone saves the otherwise routine Bhojpuri-styled Tose pyaar karte hain. Salman’s lyrics and utterances in Most Wanted Track (!) merely translates Rajinikant’s Tamil punchlines! Not so Wanted.

Additional Remixes:

“Love Me Love Me (Mama Papa Mix)”  - Below average fare.

“Ishq Vishk (Remix)” - Undoubtedly it's a decent hear and will find a fair share of admirers and detractors.

“Dil Leke (Remix)” - A complete downer, considering the original is a much cherished romantic outing, and the remix doesn't help much with the repeat value.

“Jalwa On The House (Remix)” - While the original did not break much ground due to it's average lyrics, this one has an amazing set of pads, synth loops, bass and beats, therefore making a contagious hear.

“Tose Pyaar Karte Hain (Remix)” -  Sadly, another disappointment.
Movie Review:

Directed by dancing Master Prabhu Deva, ‘Wanted’ is  produced by Boney Kapoor. This, remake of a super hit Tamil and Telugu movie Pokkiri, promises to bring back the magic of old masala movies!

Janhvi is an eyecandy for all local goons.  Even a corrupted police inspector Talpade's (Mahesh Manjrekar) also teases her.  Salman protects Janhvi from the corrupted policeman and wins a place in her heart.  Salman's certain rigid rules and principles, lead him for an enmity with another mafia don in the town.

The movie is based on a gang war between two rival gangs of the town. The rest of the story is all about, how he settles score with the mafia don.

Character Brief

Salman Khan (Radhe)Rebellious, has serious problems with authority. Does exactly what he wants and to hell with the consequences. Will work for money, but only on his own terms. Can be a loyal friend and when he makes a commitment it's for keeps.

Ayesha Takia (Jhanvi):Innocent, shy and sweet. Has problems asserting herself and speaking up her mind. Her timidity encourages unwanted advances from undesirable elements.

Mahesh Manjrekar(Inspector Talpade): Vindictive to the point of being sadistic. Greedy, loves to be bribed - in cash or in kind. And when he wants something he gets it - whether it's money or women.
